Disordered eating refers to a range of irregular eating behaviors that may not meet the criteria for a full-blown eating disorder but still involve problematic patterns. If you want help moving away from chronic dieting, occasional binging or skipping meals, emotional eating or obsession with food/body image that interferes with daily life but not to the extent seen in diagnosed eating disorders then you are in the right place.
Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) is a type of eating disorder characterized by a limited range of food intake and a strong aversion to eating certain foods, often resulting in significant nutritional deficiencies or other health/emotional issues. Erin specializes in the treatment of ARFID and works together with the client to reduce anxiety around food and expand the variety of foods a client is able to eat.
Erin loves to work with children and caregivers to address concerns related to picky eating and increase the variety of foods a child is willing to eat. She also has experience with Baby Led Weaning if parents are interested in trying this approach to feeding with their infant and would like some guidance through the process.
At Paradigm Nutrition we realize that there is a variety of information out there related to women's health concerns and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). If you're feeling frustrated with your health and seeking guidance related to these concerns, Erin implements a collaborative approach to help you find clarity and implement nutrition and lifestyle changes to help manage your condition.
